Well first of all!!, do NOT eat a only-carbs snack or meal before an extensive workout session because you will only end up depleting the only energy source that you ingested. Instead of an only-carbs meal, try a mix of vitamin-mineral enriched snacks, foods, or meals. For instance, experts say that the best mixture is protein + carbs.
